As a CNC machining company based in the West Midlands, we have been manufacturing CNC components for many years. Employing a team of skilled and experienced engineers, we have the confidence and technical knowledge to work to the tightest of tolerances, regardless of the job specification. With our up to date machinery and software packages, we can provide a wide variety of machining services including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Drilling, Threading, and Assembly services

CNC Turning

Mako Precision offers comprehensive CNC turning services, working from customer-provided CAD data, existing samples, or often just a simple sketch, CNC turning offers unprecedented product consistency and repeatability, giving excellent quality and accuracy throughout an entire batch of components. Our high spec CNC lathes are made for the production of short or long batch runs, enabling us to deliver high-quality parts on time & on budget

CNC Milling

As with our Turning services, our CNC Milling services offer the same quality and flexibility, plus the ability to machine complex 3D and 2D forms to your specification, often costing many times less than similar components, that in the past would have been produced using manual machining techniques. Complex surface programs can be created from a CAD drawing and be "drip fed" to the machine via a DNC link, saving many hours in programming time.

Benefits of CNC machining

There are many advantages to CNC machining components. CNC machined components which are to be used in secondary operations can be manufactured more accurately than parts created by manual machines.

For people or companies who are looking at having a large number of components made in batches, CNC machining is able to ensure the process can be repeated in the exact same way every time, this is something that would be impossible to achieve using manual machining techniques.

What materials we use

We offer a flexible service and can create CNC machined parts and components from a wide variety of materials. Our skilled and experienced engineers have the expertise to machine a large range of components using materials ranging from plastics to super duplex. No matter what your requirements are or how complex the job we can provide you with a competitive quote.

Prototypes, small and large batch work

Thanks to our diverse range of machinery we can machine a large variety of components. Our machinery enables us to produce parts big and small with capacity for up to 2m on our CNC milling section and up to 450mm with our CNC turning machines. With machinery equipped with live tooling, we can cut down on time and save you money by completing components in a single operation where second operations would normally be necessary. So no matter what your requirements whether it's a prototype, small batches of parts, or large orders with thousands of components that need machining, Mako Precision can accommodate you.
