As a member of the team, you will be required to carry out general day-to-day tasks such as sweeping, tidying and general housekeeping of the shop floor, canteen and hallways . Also making local and national deliveries and collections as far as 170miles, operating the forklift to load and unload wagons.The Role:- Sweeping to keep the workplace clean and tidy- General upkeep of canteen, hallways, shop floor and offices.- Empty metal cuttings from machines when needed- Keep machines topped up with coolant- Generally be helpful give people a hand if needed- Check vans weekly (oil, water, service lights, tyres)- Driving Vans to deliver and collect.- Operating forklift truck to load and unload wagonsRequired Skills:- To be motivated with a “can-do” attitude.- A team player.- Organised, focused, and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work.- An understanding and appreciation of health and safety.- Ability to use own initiative- Driving License- Forklift LicenseDetails:-Overtime with overtime rates may be available-Hours of work are 7:30am till 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am till 1:30pm Friday.
